OpsHub Kiosk — Privacy Policy

OpsHub Kiosk ("the app") is a companion application published by Inspiration AI that turns an
Android tablet into a dedicated, locked-down kiosk for the OpsHub operations platform. The app
is a secure container that displays your organization's OpsHub kiosk experience
(https://opshub.inspiration-ai.com/kiosk). It is intended for use on
organization-managed devices.
Information the app itself collects
- Device identity. To keep a tablet registered as a kiosk, the app stores a device identifier and registration token locally on the device and associates the device with your organization in the OpsHub platform. This is used solely to identify the tablet as an authorized kiosk.
- Local settings. The kiosk URL and an administrator PIN you set are stored locally on the device only.
- The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
Camera
The camera permission is used only to scan a QR code during device registration (to read an adoption code). Camera images are processed on the device to read the code and are not stored or transmitted by the app.
Information handled by the OpsHub platform
Content shown in the kiosk (tasks, schedules, announcements, surveys, employee interactions, etc.) is provided by the OpsHub platform your organization operates. That data is collected and processed by OpsHub under your organization's agreement and OpsHub's own privacy practices, not by the kiosk app as a separate collector. Employees interact with OpsHub through the kiosk the same way they would in a browser.
Data sharing
The app does not sell personal information and does not share it with third parties other than the OpsHub platform your organization already uses. Network requests are made to your OpsHub deployment to display the kiosk.
Data retention & deletion
Local device data (identifier, token, settings) is removed when the app is uninstalled or when an administrator exits kiosk mode and clears the device. To remove a device's registration from the OpsHub platform, an administrator can delete the device in the OpsHub kiosk admin, or contact your OpsHub administrator.
Children
The app is a workplace tool and is not directed to children.
